Description
Her counterattack thwarted, Esmeralda tried to stand her ground, unable to really shift the momentum back in her favor as she was too busy attempting to ward off the Sniper’s gloves, dragon print armor-piercing rounds that repeatedly targeted her torso. Naoko continued to pressure the larger woman, gradually tenderizing her toned abs with a series of precision strikes to specific wounded areas. Eventually, the bodyguard had to give up some ground to Naoko’s onslaught, taking a couple backward steps to give herself breathing room. Each inhale and exhale singed her insides as Esmeralda’s body sent her signals that her damage levels had been steadily accumulating as the Senshi had decisively taken hold of the round.
Realizing that she needed to do something to stop her backslide, La Rosa steeled herself with a sharp breath, ignoring the burn it caused as she tightened her guard. Naoko flitted around her, probing with high and low jabs, though Esmeralda managed to deflect. Noticing that Esmeralda was moving to set up a barricade around her sore midsection, the cop once again swapped targets changing her angle as she raised up to pop a crisp double left jab to the Spaniard’s reddening cheek. Esmeralda took both, lightly grunting with each impact. Before she could make a move however, Naoko weaved in behind a hard right cross to the jaw, rolling Esmeralda’s neck and head to the side as more sweat and saliva flew from her, accompanied by a splash of red as Esmeralda suffered a second cut, this one on the inside of her lower lip.
Eyes narrowed, Esmeralda kept one eye on her rival through the hit, determined to suppress Naoko’s police brutality before this third round rout could go farther. With a sudden, threatening step forward, Esmeralda set herself into motion, using her inertia to send a steamrolling right cross of her own for her tormenter’s left cheek. Naoko saw it, but did not expect it to reach her quite as swiftly as it did, and thus was unable to guard or get away from it before it assailed her, the jolt of the impact reverberating through her entire body. Stunned, Naoko could only bear witness with half-open eyes as the Shadow Rose barreled toward her, heavy left glove in tow. Esmeralda let out a fierce battle cry, twisting her torso as she stepped in to lend torque and fearsome power to a giant left hook that whipped the Senshi’s head violently, nearly 90 degrees to her left.
“…RRGHK!”
Intense, sudden pain was clear as day in Naoko’s strained voice as the hit nearly spun her around, the cut in her mouth reopened as an arc of blood and sweat traced her path.
