Jessica’s hook to the body offset Felicia slightly, but it wasn’t enough to force her backward or interfere with her footing; the German tank’s weight and sturdily built frame allowed her to stay planted, requiring Jessica to box around her. And so the Nova Striker continued to skirt around her larger opponent, shifting right in her angle of approach this time so that Felicia had to turn to her left in order to realign. As Felicia moved to keep Jessica in her sights, she tossed out a couple space-controlling jabs as she did so, Jessica responding swiftly by either shooting her gloves up to her face to block, or tilting her neck and head a few degrees to slip.

Watching and waiting, Jessica stayed on the defensive. Felicia eventually slacked off from the jabs, choosing instead to stay her gloves as she appeared increasingly wary of what might be up the nurse’s sleeve considering her previous successful play only moments earlier. At this point, Jessica shifted gears to go on offense again, launching a few probing jabs from the edge of her range. Though once again, nothing landed clean as Felicia easily defended.  When she saw Felicia pivot at the hip to prep a big right hand likely intended to break the stalemate, Jessica made her move. Just as the Iron Mountain’s right glove got to the shoulder and was in position to launch, Jessica suddenly dashed inward yet again, a movement Felicia wasn’t anticipating given the circumstance. Before Felicia’s glove could come around, Jessica stifled her with a tightly-coiled left hook to the jaw.
